Now let's close out 2023 in style, by setting ourselves up for prosperity 2024 with our Week 17 NFL DFS lineups.Before we break down all of our picks, here are the most notable scoring rules for DraftKings contests: Full-point PPR, four-point pa sing TDs, three-point bonuses for 100 rushing yards, 100 receiving yards, and 300 pa sing yards.QB Derek Carr, Saints @ Buccaneers ($5,500).In a word...yikes. We're heading Richard Panik Women Jersey into Week 17 doing the unthinkable -- trusting Carr to put up some big numbers. The QB hasn't been as advertised since arriving in the Big Easy, consistently breaking down all season long. Despite refusing a trip to the shop, Carr has battled through those ailments, and we have reason to believe that perhaps better days are ahead for the Saints' signal-caller. For starters, he's been quite the compiler over the past few weeks after to sing three touchdowns in two straight games. That earned the QB a score of at least 20 points in each contest, though arriving at that final number likely made for some uncomfortable moments earlier on. The matchup against Tampa's last-ranked pa s defense warrants fantasy consideration, though, and with New Orleans' season on the line, we're willing to trust Carr to deliver. Maybe just hold your nose for the first three quarters.RB Christian McCaffrey, 49ers @ Commanders ($9,600).From a pick that needed plenty of convincing, we are willing to right that ship with one that needs none of that. McCaffrey is the best and most consistent weapon in fantasy. He's facing a Commanders' defense that has the deadly combination of being bad and also checked out. Breece Hall just torched them for 191 total yards and two touchdowns on a day where the Jets (yes, Luc Snuggerud Jersey the Jets) offense put up 30 points. Don't overthink it.RB Joe Mixon, Bengals @ Chiefs ($6,400).We just watched Zamir White and the Raiders have their way with the Chiefs on Christmas Day despite Aidan O'Connell not completing a pa s after the first quarter. It speaks volumes of Kansas City's fall from grace, and the unraveling will only continue with the Bengals coming to town. The shine is certainly off Jake Browning after a beatdown in Pittsburgh, but the QB is obviously capable of completing a pa s and that will complicate things for K.C. -- and we're only half-kidding. Mixon continues to be an X-factor for Cincinnati, and that won't change in a must-win game.WR Rashee Rice, Chiefs vs. Bengals ($6,900). Travis Kelce looks like someone who's planning to retire when the season ends, and the Chiefs as a whole appear to be an exhausted group. The i sues with receivers are well-documented, but what about Patrick Mahomes? The QB seems frazzled all while the offense continues to spin its tires. Even amid a bad season by their standards, Rice is a bright spot in this Chiefs offense. The rookie's role continues to grow with each pa sing week, so it should come as no surprise that he is poised to come through once again. The WR will be the go-to option for Mahomes with the team attempting to right the ship.WEEK 17 PPR RANKINGS: | | | | | WR Demarcus Robinson, Rams @ Giants ($4,600).Robinson was given an opportunity to make an impact for the Rams and has done nothing but produce for the past four weeks. He's scored a touchdown in each of those games as the deep threat is becoming a player to watch as the season comes to a close. The Giants are simply playing out the string and were victimized by big plays against the Eagles. Keep riding the wave as Robinson continues to be discounted despite the role he's playing.WR Rashid Shaheed, Saints @ Buccaneers ($4,600).Tampa's struggles on defense are nothing new, and we already know this is a must-win game for New Orleans. However, instead of Olave, who is going to be a popular pick, we'll take a shot on Shaheed to find the space in the Buccaneers secondary. The speedy receiver can be a game-wrecker, meaning it only takes one catch to truly make a difference. Coming off a nine-target game, we like Shaheed's volume and ceiling heading into Sunday's action.WEEK 17 STANDARD RANKINGS: | | | | | TE Gerald Everett, Chargers @ Broncos ($3,500).One player who has greatly benefited from the arrival of Easton Stick under center is Everett. The TE is seeing eight targets a game with Stick running the show, and although he hasn't scored a touchdown yet, that volume suggests it is only a matter of time. Against one of the league's worst defenses at defending the TE position, Everett Jordan Schroeder Men Jersey is in a good spot to find the end zone for the fourth time this season.FLEX RB Ezekiel Elliott, Patriots @ Bills ($6,000).It would be nothing short of a miracle if Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) returned this season, meaning it's the Elliott show from here on out. The RB is a threat as a runner and receiver, e sentially serving as option 1A, 1B, 1C (and so on) in the New England offense. That type of volume and opportunity makes it almost a guarantee that he can exceed the $6,000 salary.DEF Ravens vs. Dolphins ($2,800).It's a bit of a weird pick all things considered, but the Ravens just shut down the 49ers offense on Christmas. Knowing what we know now, why can't they shut down the Dolphins offense on New Year's? As we all know, Mike McDaniel is a disciple of Kyle Shanahan and runs e sentially the same offense with different pieces. Considering Baltimore just gave the blueprint on how to stop San Francisco, we can expect them to make a few adjustments and present similar problems for Miami.
