    A Sky News investigation published on November 16 has revealed new details about Israel's torture and murder of top Gazan Palestinian surgeon Adnan al-Bursh in Ofer prison in the occupied Palestinian West Bank last May.

    A fellow Palestinian prisoner in Ofer told the British news channel that Israeli guards savagely tortured Dr Bursh, then left him to die alone, naked from the waist down, in the prison yard..!!

    The prisoner, who previously knew the doctor in Gaza, provided the new details in a deposition to lawyers from HaMoked, an Israeli human rights organization.

    "In mid-April 2024, Dr. Adnan Al-Bursh, arrived at Section 23 of Ofer Prison, the prison guards brought Dr. Adnan Al-Bursh to the section in a deplorable state.

    He had been clearly assaulted with wounds all over his body, he was naked in the lower part of his body," the prisoner's deposition states.

    The prison guards threw him into the middle of the courtyard, and left him there.

    Dr. Adnan Al-Bursh could not even stand up. One of the prisoners helped him, and accompanied him to one of the rooms.

    A few minutes later, prisoners could be heard screaming from the room they had entered, declaring that Dr. Adnan Al-Bursh (was dead)."

    Dr. Bursh was widely considered one of the most skilled and well-known surgeons in Gaza..!!

    When Israel's war on Gaza began in October last year, Dr. Bursh was working at Al-Shifa Hospital as the head of orthopedic surgery.

    He worked around the clock, performing surgeries on Palestinians injured by Israel's horrific bombing campaign..!!!

    When Israeli troops besieged Al-Shifa in November, the staff were forced to flee.

    Bursh fled on foot to the Indonesian hospital in Bait Lahia, to continue caring for the injured patients.

    He documented his experiences on video, including the moment Israel bombed the hospital, killing 12 people.

    He was later forced to leave the Indonesian hospital as well, and moved to Al-Awda Hospital in northern Gaza, where he was kidnapped by Israeli forces.

    After soldiers surrounded the hospital, "they told Dr Bursh that if all the men didn't come down, they would destroy Awda Hospital and all the women and children in it," fellow Al-Awda doctor Mohammad Obeid told Sky News.

    After Dr Bursh left the hospital, Israeli soldiers "called him by name" and then "brutally" took him away, Obeid said.

    Dr Bursh was then taken to the notorious Sde Teiman detention camp in the Negev desert.

    The facility became infamous this summer after prison guards, doctors and former detainees gave testimonies of prisoners being tortured and raped..!!

    Former Sde Teiman prisoner Dr Khalid Hamouda told Sky News that of the 100 prisoners in the section of the camp where he was held, at least a quarter were medical workers.

    Dr Bursh was savagely beaten in Sde Teiman.

    He was subjected to abuse and torture and was eventually killed..Britain's Sky News has revealed the results of its investigation into the death of Gaza doctor Adnan Al Bursh, who was kidnapped and then held in Zionist occupation prisons.
