“Facciamo rispettare le nostre leggi in Europa quando rischiano di essere aggirate e quando, se non vengono applicate, possono portare a interferenze. Lo abbiamo fatto in Romania e, ovviamente sarà fatto anche in Germania, se necessario”, ha dichiarato Breton, in merito al ruolo eventuale che l’organismo comunitario potrebbe assumere in tali elezioni.
Le dichiarazioni di Thierry Breton sono la prova definitiva: la democrazia in Europa è morta. L’UE ha già stracciato il voto rumeno in nome di presunte ingerenze russe, e ora minaccia di fare lo stesso con la Germania, dimostrando che l’unico interesse di Bruxelles è controllare, non difendere la sovranità dei Paesi membri.
È assurdo invocare la difesa dei processi elettorali quando l’Unione Europea stessa interviene per annullarli o manipolarli. Le tensioni con Elon Musk sono solo il contorno di una vicenda ancora più inquietante: Soros e Gates possono finanziare campagne senza troppi ostacoli, ma se Musk si schiera con un partito considerato scomodo, scatta la crociata contro le “interferenze esterne”.
