Key Highlights of the Waves of Intrigue Season

To access the fresh content, players must meet a certain requirement. Only those at a resonance level of 240 or higher will have the opportunity to dive into this new update. For those exceeding this level, a fresh journey will commence at level 240.

As the season concludes, all progress made during this time—including seasonal resonance levels, equipment, artifacts, and magic charms—will transform into epic invite letters and temporal essence . Introducing the new map: Stormy Strait 

Stormy Strait is the first new map in Waves of Intrigue, and also introduces players to two new mechanics introduced this season - sailing and fishing. Players can explore the maps by boat. During the exploration, players are able to discover treasure under the sea and challenge themselves in the fishing site. It is absolutely interested to participate in fishing game. It acts as a casual game for you to relax.

In addition, the stealth mechanic is new to AFK Journey this season and requires players to travel through enemy camps without being caught. You also have to take your effort to resolve a brewing conflict between two rival gangs, the Carmine Whispers and the Water Wights.

New characters in the new season

The fisrt character is Nara. She is  the leader of the Water Wights with a very direct battle style. She's had a very tragic past. She was apart from families when she was young, as a result, she had to struggle for survival. After having experienced countless difficulties and challenges, she has transformed into a cruel avenger. Now, consumed by hatred and desire, she has established herself as a powerful presence on the battlefield, ensuring that all her enemies face her full wrath.

The next character is Dunlingr. He is a powerful new  Celestial. He acts as a reliable tank and has the capability to become a valuable ally. In the previous, he was the leader of the town. Now, as the power enhances, he has become the heavenly guardian of order. 

The last introduction to the new character is Sinbad. He belongs to the Lightbeare faction. The most significant feature of him is trusty.

As for the method how to get the new character, players can utilize Rate Up Recruitment to gain access to recruit Sinbad and Nara, as well as Stargaze Station in Dunlingr. It is noteworthy that Nara and Dunlingr are S-level characters. However, Sinbad is a A-level hero.
