R.I.P Jocey Tackett
The Waverly High School community received news this week that one of their own, Jocey Tackett, passed away at Nationwide Children’s Hospital after weeks in the hospital — just days before her 18th birthday.
Died: Age 17 (13 April 2025 - USA)
Cause of Death: Due to severe complications from the flu and strep throat. Her illness led to sepsis, cardiac arrest, and lung failure.
